The ceilings have been scraped, thanks to my super amazing husband who worked nights to get this done before we moved in! They look so much better!
This is what the house looks like with ceiling all over the floor...
We've gone with white ceilings in all the rooms except the living room, which looks like this now. We went with a pure white over the wooden beams and SW Tidewater on the ceiling.
We also took up the carpet in the bedrooms and the dining room to find this beautiful flooring under all of it!
Saturday was move-in day, and I only have 2 boxes left to unpack. But we won't talk about how many walls I have to paint or baseboards we have to set, or light fixtures that have to be replaced, or door knobs, or faucets...
