Stripes in the bathroom

I'm not sure why I've been so obsessed with bathroom design lately. I guess it's because there is so much potential in bathrooms, and it's ok to go a little crazy. One thing that I have seen alot is stripes in bathrooms. And why not? Everyone likes a clean looking bathroom, and a stripe is the cleanest line you will find.

This striped chair is adorable, but that's an interesting choice for the sconce.

Making a design with the tile...

I like the pairing of balloon shades and bold stripes, but it does resound of icecream shop. I'm not sure if that's the mood you want to set in a bathroom...

This is a great idea for those tiny, under-the-stairs, half baths that have no room for interesting furniture. Honeycomb tile floors - good choice, bamboo shade - good choice, but I think I see the corner of a brown toilet seat (yikes!) and the light fixture needs to be replaced...
