We have this funny little corner in our living room where all the cords meet. You know what I mean...power strips and internet cords and all those things that I don't even know what they go with. My husband came up with the idea of this great little side table, and of course I painted it and shoved all the cords in a basket. So, until the world goes wireless, I'm sticking with my cord basket. You can't really tell from the picture, but it is light blue on the inside.

Cord Solution
We have this funny little corner in our living room where all the cords meet. You know what I mean...power strips and internet cords and all those things that I don't even know what they go with. My husband came up with the idea of this great little side table, and of course I painted it and shoved all the cords in a basket. So, until the world goes wireless, I'm sticking with my cord basket. aaaah! cords! so awful! your table looks GREAT though! is it open in the back? or how do you keep the cords from coming around the front to get into the basket?
I love your lamp! And your curtains! Where do you find these things?
Is it a problem for the littlest? Most our cords "hide" behind furniture, but even those the little dude finds....
Hope, we cut a hole in the back for all the cords to exit. We actually have a power strip in the basket, which helps.
Claire, curtains are from World Market, lamp is a thrift store find, and I made the shade out of oil cloth.
Erika, this is the one 'no touch' area in the living room. It is a pretty big temptation, but putting everything in the basket actually helped a lot.
