I am always looking for patterns that coordinate with florals, without making the palette too much like a rose garden. So, you can imagine how excited I am that Ikat is back in style. It started coming back a couple of years ago, and I wasn't sure what to think until I saw it in updated colors. With it's ancient, exotic motif I've found that it works in a variety of spaces. For a while, it could only be found in Southwestern styles, but is now coming in trendier colors. There is also a variety of "fuzziness" to choose from. If you like the cleaner line, there is still an Ikat for you.
I have a little munchkin climbing on my lap this morning, so don't blame me if you find typos. She can't resist all the bright colors on the computer....a girl after my own heart.

Oh blogging with children around explains a lot of why my posts look the way they do.I've been eying Ikat too. I think it would nice in my living room redo.
I am so glad to be introduced to your site... everything is so lovely!
I'm shocked that I won the contest from the Fun Lane, and it was such a pleasant surprise when I came home from our summer travels! We actually just drove through idaho on our way back from a family reunion in WA. It was a miracle that we all survived the 12 hour drive, especially my little ones! :)
My email address is carirunia@comcast.net - Thanks!
